Windows 7: Why a few should, most shouldn’t…

The PR machine has been turned on for Microsoft’s new version of Windows, called Windows 7.

The release date for Windows 7 is October 22.

This version of Windows, of course, follows on the heels of the disastrous Windows Vista.

So, should you upgrade?

Here’s what you need to know:

  • If you’re one of the three people in the US who is HAPPY WITH WINDOWS VISTA…

…then why bother upgrading?

  • If you bought a new computer in the last two years and  you’ve been SUFFERING WITH VISTA every since…

…then the answer is “Yes! Absolutely!! Upgrade!!!”

Oh, but wait.

There’s something you better do first:

Follow this link to Microsoft’s free “Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor” just to MAKE SURE YOUR MACHINE CAN HANDLE Windows 7:

Also consider:

If you recently bought your new computer with Vista pre-installed…

…you may be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 7.

  • And if you have a computer with XP, should you upgrade?

No way.

You’re stuck until you buy your next computer.

And don’t take my word it.

Instead, consider what Microsoft has to say about an XP-to-Windows 7 upgrade:

“…if you’re running Windows XP, or any other operating system for that matter, we recommend that you experience Windows 7 on a new PC.”

  • And here’s a question to ponder:

Don’t you think it’s really weird that even after the Microsoft Vista disaster…

…that Microsoft is releasing a new version of Windows that seems to ignore the vast majority of people who are still using XP?
